Video Editing
At the age of 9, I purchased my first ever video editing software, Corel VideoStudio on a DVD. I started splicing Arabic cartoon dubs from TV recordings onto DVD or Blu-Ray rips of the same shows because I hated TV channel watermarks (and still do). Now I have my own YouTube channel where I upload videos about the technological side of filmmaking and visual arts in general.
Graphic Design
My journey with graphic design started when I was 12 years old. I created Arabic versions of DVD covers for games and shows I had lying around. Since then, I have worked as a marketing designer at Linearity Curve (previously knows as Vectornator by Linearity), What is now an alternative to Adobe Express or Canva, as well as a graphic design specialist intern for the brand design and marketing team at ArcelorMittal Construction for the whole of Europe. My education in graphic design is never-ending, and I am always learning and following the latest design trends.

Motion Design
I did not know what Motion Design was until the summer of 2021 when I learned about the University of Europe for Applied Sciences and their Film & Motion Design course. I applied to the program and was accepted. Since then, I have learned a lot about motion design, After Effects, animation, and bringing images and drawings to life in general. I have also been experimenting with AI and special plugins to accelerate the motion design process, from ideation and experimentation to the finishing touches.
Videography & Cinematography
In the fall of 2017, I bought my first ever camera, a Canon 550D with a half-broken kit lens. Since then, I have used all types of cameras and lenses and have also attended film school for one year. I have also modded some of my cameras to record raw footage and learned to color grade said footage. Currently, I work with Panasonic Lumix cameras and enjoy shooting whatever interests me in my daily life. Unfortunately, my skills in videography are underused, and I would definitely like to create more content and experiment more in this field.
A Day in My Life
This is a short film that was made in one day as an assignment for cinematography class at UE Berlin during the beginning of my second semester of my B.A. in Film & Motion Design. It was shot in one day and was edited just after shooting the last scene.
Orchestra (2023)
A film directed by Mariia Voropai from Kyiv National Theatre, Cinema and Television University. Working as the DoP and camera operator of the film, I had quite a bit of work due to the tight deadline, but we ended up with a great result and a great applause from the supervising professors.
Photography
My first fascination was with photography. My first photo was a picture of my grandparents' yard after my 6th birthday party. I took it on my mom's film camera, which I had snuck out. Within the last few years, I have shot engagement photos, mini albums, birthday parties, portraits, and general street photography. Currently,
film simulation is my favorite, and I have been enjoying the resurgence of film in a more sustainable
and environmentally friendly way compared
to digital photography.
